Elizabeth Hughes brings three decades of international business expertise to our group. She has developed and implemented long-term strategies for international markets based on identifying funding/financing mechanisms and creative partnering strategies. She has also created and managed partnerships with vendors and customer teams in developing countries, while presenting successful complex solutions in line with their priorities and goals.
Her experience with public/private partnerships is invaluable to our clients. She has relationships and experience with key agencies in Washington, DC, including USAID, Export-Import Bank, the Trade and Development Agency, The World Bank and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
Elizabeth has held key positions with multi-national corporations with assignments in the US, Moscow and Brussels, including Avaya, Lucent Technologies, Cisco, Westinghouse. She launched her career as an intern in Brussels with the Council of Ministers of the European Union and subsequently in Washington, DC, with the US Trade Representative.
With a passion for implementing positive change and growth in the developing world, Elizabeth served with Bankers Without Borders at the Grameen Foundation and is committed to helping others realize their potential through sustainable solutions. Specifically, she looks to support projects in the following sectors: ICT, Energy Efficiency Programs, Microfinance, Healthcare Initiatives, Localized Manufacturing, Agricultural Sustainability Solutions, Green Business, and Education. Where there is a need, Elizabeth stands ready to respond.
