Oscar Parlback has more than a decade of experience working with private sector organizations that want to grow their business internationally by pursuing deals funded by international donors, such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the European Union, and the United States Agency for International Development. Mr. Parlback has helped companies develop new business models, forge strategic partnerships, conduct in-depth research, and qualify and win new business.
Mr. Parlback’s work with companies such as IBM and Cisco included building internal research and management capacities and producing actionable intelligence around donor-funded initiatives, resulting in new business opportunities worth hundreds of US$ millions. Furthermore, he has helped companies improve their existing sales models by aligning products and services with the social, economic, and even political goals of customers and partners.
Oscar Parlback has also advised embassies in Washington, DC on how to increase exports by helping companies pursue the donor-funded market, and he has assisted the World Bank with creating expenditure reviews for policymakers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr. Parlback has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Marquette University and a Master’s degree in Communication for Development from Malmö University.
